Anne Uwaifo is a Managing Associate in the Firm’s Corporate Services Practice Group. She holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from Ambrose Alli University, where she graduated with a Second Class Honours (Upper Division) and is admitted to practice in Nigeria.
Known for her astute intellect in connecting solutions with issues arising from Corporate & Commercial practice, Anne has garnered about a decade of experience across key practice areas of company secretarial services, corporate governance, regulatory compliance advisory, and general corporate advisory, in relation to her regular advisory to local and international corporations seeking guidance on the impact of Nigerian law in terms of setting up a company, engaging in foreign investments, establishment of local subsidiaries, immigration, and general regulatory requirements applicable in the Nigerian commercial market.
She has worked with different teams on several governance engagements, including Board of Director’s performance evaluation, corporate governance audit and compliance audit, across various sectors of the Nigerian economy.
Anne is also a qualified Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (‘ICSAN’), a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (‘NBA’), a member of International Bar Association (‘IBA’), and a member of the Compliance Institute of Nigeria.
