Cynthia Ekeka is a versatile legal professional, bringing her expertise to the Dispute Resolution Department of our Firm with a focus on the Insolvency & Asset Recovery Practice Area. Additionally, she serves as an Associate specializing in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. With a wealth of knowledge in FMCG, Cynthia provides invaluable counsel to clients in this sector, particularly in risk management and compliance with international standards.

 

She earned her LL.B degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and subsequently completed her BL at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus. Cynthia has made significant contributions to high-profile Insolvency cases, both domestically and internationally, playing a pivotal role in Asset & Debt Recovery as well as Corporate Restructuring efforts.

 

An active member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Cynthia also belongs to BRIPAN (Business Recovery & Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria), a professional body of Insolvency Practitioners. Beyond her legal practice, Cynthia is a skilled writer, demonstrated by her achievement in winning the Mondaq’s Autumn 2023 Thought Leadership Awards in the Employment and HR category—an honor she solely earned as the only Nigerian recipient.
