David Olajide is an Associate in the Energy, Finance, and Infrastructure Practice Group at Stren & Blan Partners, advising on power, oil and gas, mining, infrastructure, and financial services across Nigeria and Africa. He has advised on a myriad of complex transactions and regulatory mandates, including the ₦21 billion Transalliance Mining Project, a ₦2 billion Series 1 private notes issuance under a ₦20 billion programme, and a USD 36 million special situations and recovery mandate for Century Energy Services Limited. His experience also includes restructuring Power Purchase Agreements for a state government, advising on a USD 2 million commercial and solar energy project, supporting biochar carbon removal initiatives, assisting a microfinance bank with NIBSS onboarding, and advising on the establishment of the Anambra State electricity market. David was nominated for the 40 Under 40 ESQ Young Lawyer of the Year Award 2025.
