Emmanuella Adaora Otu is an Associate at Stren & Blan Partners, where she contributes to delivering high-quality legal services across corporate, tax, and commercial practice areas. She graduated with First Class Honours and has consistently demonstrated academic excellence.

Emmanuella has developed a strong foundation in tax law and policy through her experience as a Research Assistant with the Presidential Committee on Tax Reforms, where she worked on policy recommendations aimed at promoting a more equitable tax system in Nigeria. Her professional experience spans corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, and tax advisory, equipping her with a well-rounded perspective on complex legal and commercial issues.

She has a demonstrated interest in Tax, Finance, and Intellectual Property Law, further evidenced by her leadership as the Founder of the Intellectual Property Law Club, UNIZIK, and her active participation in national tax debates and moot competitions. Emmanuella held several leadership positions as a student and this helped her build work ethics and commitment. As a published writer, Emmanuella has authored several articles on taxation, environmental law, and international law featured on platforms such as Social Science Research Network (SSRN) and Medium.

Recognised for her excellence and innovation, she is a recipient of multiple academic and extracurricular awards, including winning national moot competitions and being recognised for innovation.
