Ifeanyi C. Ezechukwu is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution Department at Stren and Blan Partners. He graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and the Nigerian Law School.

Ifeanyi provides legal advisory services and representation within the firm’s Tax, Immigration, International Trade, Labour, and Employment Practice Group. He works with a diverse range of clients on both local and cross-border transactions. His expertise includes workplace risk management, claims settlement, regulatory compliance advisory and support, as well as litigation related to tax, transfer pricing, immigration, labour, employment, and other commercial matters.

As a seasoned tax adviser, Ifeanyi has excelled in assisting some of Nigeria’s and Africa’s largest multinationals in resolving complex tax compliance issues with tax authorities. He has collaborated with prominent companies across various sectors, including Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), technology, healthcare, and transportation, guiding them through intricate tax, transfer pricing, and compliance challenges. His significant contributions to the tax landscape recently earned him recognition as a Rising Star in the ITR World Tax 2026 ranking. Additionally, Ifeanyi has successfully handled complex cases involving employer liability, workplace injuries and compensation, as well as employee severance disputes, often managing potential liabilities worth millions of dollars. He remains committed to ensuring his clients’ legal issues and needs are effectively addressed.

Outside of his legal practice, Ifeanyi is deeply interested in music and football. He sings as much as he listens to high-quality music. He is an enthusiastic songwriter and music composer, particularly in gospel and educational genres. When he isn’t listening to music or writing one, he is kicking a ball around, although with much more dexterity in his mind than his foot puts out. Ifeanyi supports two football clubs, namely: Chelsea FC, and any club Cristiano Ronaldo plays for. These varied interests explain why Entertainment Law holds a special place in his heart for the future.
